Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshops
New to Centering Prayer or need a refresher course?
We recommend you begin by attending an Introduction to Centering Prayer workshop (see calendar below), and by reading Fr. Keating's book, Open Mind, Open Heart: The Contemplative Dimension of the Gospel.
The format for each workshop is an all-day session on a Saturday, and then six weekly evening follow-up sessions. All workshops are led by presenters trained by Contemplative Outreach, Ltd.
During the follow-up sessions, you will see a video of Fr. Keating which will deepen your understanding of the Christian contemplative heritage, have a period of Centering Prayer with the others who attended your workshop, and have an opportunity for Q&A.
